Sublimation only bonds properly to polyester and coated blanks. On 100% cotton it will disappoint you - that is what DTF is for.

Questions buyers actually ask
Is this a normal printer or a special one?
The hardware is a standard Epson L805; what makes it a sublimation printer is that it is filled with sublimation ink and profiled for transfer paper. We set that up before you collect it, because doing it wrong the first time is how people waste a set of ink.
Can I print ordinary documents on it too?
Do not. Once it is running sublimation ink it is a sublimation machine. Mixing ink types is how you end up buying a printhead.
Will it print on cotton t-shirts?
Not properly. Sublimation bonds to polyester and to coated blanks. For cotton, dark garments and photographic designs you want the no-cut DTF printer. Anyone who tells you sublimation works on cotton is selling you a refund.
What press do I need with it?
Depends on what you are making. Mugs want the mug press, garments want a flatbed, and if you want everything from one machine, the 8-in-1 combo. Ask us and we will quote printer and press as one package.
What does it cost to run?
Six refillable ink tanks rather than cartridges, so cost per transfer is low. Your real per-unit cost is the blank - the mug, the shirt, the case - not the ink.
