What 30W actually does

Cost per mark
Effectively the electricity. After the machine, marking an item costs you almost nothing.

Its own lithium battery on site, or an ordinary 240V socket in the workshop.
Wear parts
The lens is the only routine replacement, and only if it is not kept clean.
Routine maintenance
Keep the lens clean, check the cable connections, keep it dry. That is the whole list.
Downtime risk
Low. Regular servicing and clean connections are what stop a job stalling halfway - the advice we give every buyer.

Questions buyers actually ask
Do I need a computer to use it?
The marking software is set up before the machine leaves us. You prepare or import the artwork on a laptop and send the job to the machine, and most operators keep one cheap laptop permanently with the kit. Day one of training is exactly this, hands on your own machine.
How is this different from the 250W handheld metal marking machine?
This one writes on the surface with light. It is fast, it is fine, and it will put a logo, a QR code or small text on steel and aluminium beautifully. The 250W machine drives physically into the metal, so it goes deeper, which is what chassis plates and rating plates need. They solve different problems. Tell us on WhatsApp what work you actually have and we will say which one pays for itself faster - including when the answer is neither.
Can it mark wood, glass or acrylic?
Metals and hard plastics, yes. Wood, acrylic, leather and fabric want a CO2 machine instead, like our laser cutting machine. A fiber laser and a CO2 laser are not interchangeable, and any supplier who tells you one machine does everything is guessing at your expense.
How long before I can actually earn with it?
Most people are marking sellable pieces the same day. The training is free, it is hands-on, and it is not a PDF - we do not finish until you can run a job start to finish on your own. After that you still have us on WhatsApp.
Is there really no consumable?
None. That is the whole economics of laser marking, and it is why an asset-tagging contract is profitable at 30 shillings an item. The machine is the cost. Everything after it is electricity.
Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Countrywide, and worldwide. Every unit is tested before it ships - we have delivered and commissioned machines in Kakamega and in Tanzania. Same-day delivery where transport allows.
Can I earn from this as a service, or is it only for my own products?
Both, and most of our buyers do both. Asset tagging, rim marking and cutlery marking are services companies pay for on site, which means you go to the money instead of waiting for it to walk in. We refer work to people we have trained and feature them on our platforms. What the training actually covers is written up in full.
What does it cost to run compared with buying the service in?
