Laser asset tagging engraves identification permanently into the item itself. It cannot peel, fade, wash off, or be picked off by idle fingers during a boring assembly.
What laser asset tagging actually is
A laser permanently marks your organisation's name, a serial number, or both, directly onto the surface of the asset — metal, wood, plastic or leather. Chairs, laptops, tablets, microphones, plates and cups, gumboots, tools, hospital equipment: if it is on your inventory list, it can almost certainly be marked.
The mark is cut into or fused onto the surface. There is no adhesive to fail, no ink to fade in the sun, and nothing raised for a fingernail to catch. On a metal item it will outlast the item's useful life.

Serialization, and why it changes an audit
Marking your name on an item proves whose it is. Marking a unique serial number on it tells you which one it is — and that is the difference between an inventory you can audit and a list you can only hope is true.

If you do not yet have a register, tagging is the natural moment to start one, and we will hand back the number list in a form your finance office can actually use.
Do it before the term, not after the loss

Frequently asked questions
Will laser marking damage the item?
No. The mark is controlled to the surface and the settings are matched to the material before a batch starts. We test on a sample of your own items first, in front of you, rather than assuming.
Can you tag plastic chairs and laptops as well as metal?
Yes — plastic, metal, wood and leather are all routine. The technique changes with the material, which is exactly why the sample test happens first.
How long does a school deployment take?
It depends on item count and access. A few hundred items is typically a day. We will give you a realistic schedule with the quote, and we would rather quote two days honestly than one day optimistically.
Do you travel outside Nairobi?
Yes, countrywide. Travel is free within Nairobi; for other counties the fee is stated in the quote before you commit.
